Performance
When you’re anticipating the glow of a low fuel light warning on your gauge cluster while cruising through U.S. Highway 181, shift the 2026 Kia Seltos into its standard Eco driving mode to retain every remaining drop until you’re able to get to a local gas station. This setting tweaks the shift points of the standard 2.0L 4-cylinder engine and throttles the delivery of 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque to conserve fuel. If you’re one to prefer getting to your destination in an exhilarating way, the optional 1.6L 4-cylinder powertrain's 190 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque may work better for you. The first engine mentioned is paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission for better fuel economy statistics, while the turbo option is instead mated to an optional 8-speed automatic gearbox that focuses on responsiveness and feedback.
Driver Assistance Technology
Make morning trips in heavy traffic less daunting by using the optional Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go6 system, which abides by a predetermined distance between the Kia Seltos and the car ahead of it. It’s also able to automatically start and brake your SUV according to the movements made by the motorist ahead of you, all while the standard Driver Attention Warning7 feature makes sure you retain focus on the road via gauge cluster alerts. Another feature that makes safely reaching highway exits easier is the available Blind-Spot Collision Warning8 because of the side mirror flash it presents to you if there is a vehicle at the Seltos’ side. Once you reach Felix B. Guerra City Park, use the available Rear Park Distance Warning9 system to avoid bumping into a sign while backing your vehicle into a spot.
